people still don't know nearly enough about human induced climate change

Loft Insulation

My mum and dad have just taken advantage of a local scheme and got their loft insulation topped up to twelve inches (from three inches). They are going to save an absolute mint (well approximately £64 a year and 24 tonnes of CO2 over 30 years). They were told two years ago that they did not need any more insulation as they had so much stuff stored up there (this is rubbish, I was alarmed when I found out).

But more important that all that, the guy turned up a 8.00 am and was finished in an hour. He also lagged all their pipes and insulated the water tank as well! My dad was most upset, as he didn't even stop for a cup of tea.
