Low Carbon Communities, Transition Towns, Community Environment Groups – call them what
you will, it seems that working together is the new black. Around the country,
people are rebuilding connections with each other and exciting things are
starting to happen.

Our Director, Richard Davies, delivered his annual Masterclass to the MA students on this year's Sustainable Development Advocacy Programme. You can see his presentation slides here.

Over the past four weeks we have been running a series of four training sessions for staff members at Government Office West Midlands (GOWM), in central Birmingham. The four sessions have covered various aspects of energy and carbon issues, beginning with the 'big stuff'; climate change and the global energy crisis, and the remaining three sessions focusing on energy efficiency, transport and renewables. Each session started off with a short presentation followed by a workshop activity on the week's topic.

At the tenth Green Fleet Awards, our top trumps pack was commended in the category of Green Marketing Campaign of the year. The event, held at Twickenham Stadium was compered by Hugh Dennis who was very happy with his new pack of top trumps! To find out more about the awards follow the link here.
